Let us forget the Olympic lie of neutrality! There can be no neutrality when a murderous Russian regime is about to destroy another country and threatens World War III. That is why the Ukrainian Vladyslav Heraskevych, like all other Ukrainian athletes and Olympians, deserves our full solidarity.

"We cannot appeal to the conscience of the world when our own conscience is asleep."
Carl von Ossietzky
Nobel Peace Prize laureate 1935

Editorial

It's time to speak plainly. Which of you, dear IOC members, IF presidents and secretaries general, still have any honor left? Do you want to continue lying about Olympic neutrality? Do you want to continue evading and deceiving, making deals with murderers until the end of your lives?

Take action. Now.

Do you want to continue spreading every absurd piece of propaganda invented by helpless but princely paid IOC communications directors? Such as the fairy tales of 130 armed conflicts worldwide that are comparable to Russia's war of annihilation in Ukraine, which is driving the world to the brink of a World War III? Yesterday, IOC millionaire Mark Adams, one of the three propaganda directors that the IOC now employs, said something about 20 conflicts in Milan. Overnight, he counted again and today rambled on about 130 conflicts...

Let's forget this repeated nonsense, these dubious arguments that have only one goal: to marginalize the war in Ukraine.

Flawless propaganda. Falsification of history. Distortion of the facts.

That's Trumpesque!

I hope Adams has factored into his calculations all the many wars that the Orange Nazi from the White House has supposedly ended single-handedly.

You see, the IOC is not so far removed from the serial liar and criminal in Washington who will be hosting the Olympics in two years' time; and the IOC was never so far removed from the serial liar and war criminal in Moscow who hosted the Olympics in 2014.

You shall know them by their deeds.

On the one hand, what Adams said sounded quite human. On the other hand, especially when you consider that the IOC will shortly announce Russia's full and complete reinstatement, there is not much substance behind the professionally delivered words of affection.

Historically speaking, the criminal Trump and the IOC have something else in common: both vainly longed for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Neither ever received it.

Three decades ago, IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch even hired a lobbying firm to drum up support in Oslo for the IOC as the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.

What a scandal it was when the matter was revealed, thanks to my friend, the great Norwegian journalist Frank Brandsås. How embarrassing for the IOC.

Allow me to go back a few more decades in Olympic history, which you should all be familiar with – it's so important! But I know that many of you are neither interested in it nor intend to learn from it:

In 1935, the German fascists tried to prevent the Nobel Peace Prize from being awarded to Carl von Ossietzky, whom I quoted at the beginning and who was tortured to death in a concentration camp. The rival candidate put forward by the German mass murderers was...

... Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the IOC.

Don't you want to finally learn from history?

I hear that Kirsty Coventry is staying overnight somewhere in Cortina. She may well be meeting with Vladyslav Heraskevych and the Ukrainians this evening. If not, then she would once again be ill-advised and would once again cut a very poor figure.

Will she find an appropriate solution? Is she even interested? Does she see the enormous problem?

The Epstein Files create an Olympic problem

Casey Wasserman, chairman of LA 2028, appears in the Epstein Files published by the DOJ. Wasserman is not under investigation, but moral questions arise that the Olympic movement cannot avoid. IOC members are also named in the documents. The latter is a different matter from the Wasserman case.
